First stop during my weekend was the Blogger's Give Back school drive and networking event hosted by A Girl and the City. This event was to show that bloggers do much more than just take cute photos all day. We support one another, we create, and we are highly invested in improving the community around us. My favorite part of this event was being able to connect with women in my industry over an amazing cause. Special thank you to @AGirlandtheCity for hosting such a remarkable event.
Second stop during my weekend was Phoebe's Boutique Popup Shop. I attended to support stylist, fellow blogger, and friend @outoftheboxfashion1 and I am so happy that I decided to attend. While my initial intent was to show my support, I left feeling empowered by witnessing a woman of color who was able to retire from her business and continue to stay on the fashion scene due to an abundance of support from the women who's lives she has touched over the years.
I recommend that if you feel stuck or as if you are lacking creative muses, get out...meet people...expose yourself to environments that propel you forward.
Until next time,
